How to play

Guess the unicorn startup. You get 7 facts, revealed one at a time. The first is obscure and the last is a giveaway.

• Each wrong guess unlocks the next fact. Stuck? "Reveal next fact" unlocks it too, but costs one of your 7 slots.
• A wrong guess tells you if the mystery company was founded earlier or later, and whether it shares a country or sector.
• Fewer guesses means a better score. Share your result without spoiling the answer.

Eligible companies: any startup that was ever privately valued at a billion dollars or more, from the dot-com era to today, including ones that later went public, got bought, or imploded.
